1. ENTER – Complete the online entry form with your full contact details and payment via PayPal. After your payment has been processed, you will be contacted to receive your music sample.
1a. ENTRY FEES: The Regular Entry Fee is $25 per song or category. For example, if you enter one song in one category (R&B), the fee is $25. If you enter one song in two categories (R&B and Hip/Hop), the fee is $50. If you enter two songs in the same category (or in different categories), the fee is $50. If you enter three songs in different categories (R&B, HIP/HOP, and Reggae, the fee is $75. Each time you add a song or category, you need to add $25.
1b. DEADLINE - ALL ENTRIES must be uploaded and received by 11:59 P.M.September 13, 2017 or earlier.
1c. SUBMISSIONS should be returned using the SAME FILE FORMAT of the ORIGINAL MUSIC SAMPLE you were sent. If you were sent a .wav music sample, you should return your completed sound as a .wav file. The same for MP3. [If you are sent a music sample as - - delete this sentence]
2. All entries submitted must be original.
3. Contestants may enter as many songs, in as many categories as desired, but each entry requires a separate entry form and entry fee of $25 per entry. (For example: 6 song entries will cost $150.00). One payment for multiple entries/categories is permitted. [delete "required"]
4. Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Face Defeat Music Group is not responsible for late, lost or damaged, misdirected, stolen or misappropriated entries.
5. All entries will receive a response within 24 hours to confirm receipt and music category.

6. This competition is open to all amateur and professional singers/lyricists and anyone regardless of nationality or origin. Employees of Face Defeat Music Groups, LLC, their families, subsidiaries, and affiliates are not eligible. Entries will not be returned.
7. Winners will be chosen by a Judging Committee comprised of music industry professionals including A&R managers, publishers, and producers. Songs will be judged equally on originality, lyrics, and use of the assigned music sample. Songs may be in any language. Quality of production will not be considered.There will be three winners total - - ONE winner for each category based on submissions. Prizes will be awarded jointly to all authors of any song. The winners release Face Defeat Music Group, the contest sponsors, it's subsidiaries, and affiliates from all liability regarding prizes won. The winner is responsible for rehearsing their performance. The performance date is October 4, 2017. Entrants and their collaborators will retain full rights to their work (song/lyrics) submitted
for the competition.
8. Winners will be notified by email and must sign and return an affidavit confirming that winner's song is original and he/she holds rights to the song. Failure to sign and return the form within 5 days of receipt, will result in immediate disqualification and an alternative winner will be selected. Entry constitutes permission to use winner’s names, likeness and voices for future publicity and advertising purposes without additional compensation. Winners will be determined by September 20th, 2017. After which each entrant will receive a winners list by e-mail.
9. Face Defeat Music Group LLC reserves the right to extend the deadline of the competition if needed.
10. Prizes: There will be one winner in each category (Hip/Hop, R&B, and Reggae). Each winner will perform live at the Face Defeat Music Group Launch Party, on Wednesday, October 4th, 2017 and will be a featured artist on the FACE Genius Mixtape which will be released in November 2017.
